Our platform also enables contributors to easily add, manage, and distribute their own information in the appropriate format. Use of the platform is free of charge for both data contributors, such as authorities and protected areas, and data users, such as outdoor platforms and digital service providers, and is governed by an open data license.

Using the Digitize Platform, protected area authorities can capture and manage rules, conservation objectives, and additional information in a structured and digital way. After a short registration and verification process, data is entered intuitively, automatically checked, and published as machine-readable open data datasets. The information is clearly presented, available in multiple languages, and can be reused by all user groups. Data entry can also be delegated to authorized third parties if needed and is supported by free training sessions on how to use the platform.
