Located in the Neuwied district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Auf der Hardt is a 35.4-hectare nature reserve established in 1997. This protected area lies between forested hills and watercourses, nestled in a landscape shaped by the Wied River and the Moorbach stream. Rich in biodiversity, the site features a mosaic of meadows, woodlands, and wet habitats that provide refuge for a variety of plant and animal species. With its natural diversity and scenic charm, the reserve reflects the ecological and cultural value of the region and serves as an important example of conservation in the Neuwied area.
