The Bruchwiesen nature reserve is located in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland-Palatinate. The 6.7-hectare area was placed under protection in 1992 and extends to the north-west of Pferdsfeld, a district of the town of Bad Sobernheim. The purpose of the protection is to preserve and develop the area as a habitat for rare and endangered wild plants and plant communities, in particular bristle grassland, orchids and alternating wet meadows. It also serves as a habitat for endangered animal species and is protected for scientific reasons.
