Description & Map
Summary
The Swiss wildlife reserves aim to protect selected species and their habitats. Recreation is restricted in addition to hunting: winter sports are only allowed on marked routes. Dogs must be kept on a leash in the forest. A cantonal permit is required for sporting events. Winter sports participants are therefore subject to the same access restrictions as in legally binding wildlife refuges with a marked-route requirement.
Description
Protection period: 01.01.-31.12. Additional information: dogs must be kept on a leash; operating drones is prohibited; free camping and bivouacking are prohibited; a cantonal permit is required for sporting events (according to Art. 5 VEJ)
