The Hinterköpfchen nature reserve near Ingendorf is the smallest protected area in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate. The one-hectare area was placed under protection in 1987 and is located to the north of the local community of Ingendorf. The purpose of the nature conservation area is to preserve the Keuper scars and the calcareous grasslands with neighbouring bushes. These habitats are home to numerous thermophilic, highly endangered animal and plant species. Particularly noteworthy is the Lorraine flax variant of the gentian semi-dry grassland that occurs here.
