Summary
The Im Odendell nature reserve near Bettingen is located in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate. The 1.4-hectare area was placed under protection in 1989 and is located south-east of the local community of Bettingen. The valuable, orchid-rich semi-arid grasslands and neighbouring heat-loving scrubland are protected as a habitat for rare and endangered animal and plant species, especially birds and insects.
