The Königsbachtal nature reserve near Neuhütten is located in the district of Trier-Saarburg in Rhineland-Palatinate. The 219.32-hectare area was placed under protection by decree on 25 March 1996 and extends to the north-east of the local communities of Züsch and Neuhütten. The state road L 165 runs along the western edge, where there is a clearing island in the closed forest area of the Hochwald. The Königsbach, a right upper course of the Allbach, flows through the area. The state border with Saarland runs around five kilometres to the south.
