The biotope "Nägele-Paspels" is located in the area of the former gravel extraction site in the Brederiser Münkafeld. It includes several still waters with species-rich riparian vegetation and serves as an important refuge for numerous amphibians, reptiles, and birds in an otherwise intensively used landscape.
