The Rohrmaar nature reserve near Scharfbillig is located in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate. The 2.21-hectare area was placed under protection in 1989 and is located to the south-west of the local community of Scharfbillig. The aim of the protection is to preserve, secure and develop a nutrient-rich wetland in the Bitburger Gutland as a habitat and refuge for characteristic and endangered wetland inhabitants, in particular bird and insect species.
