The Schorberg and Scheldköpfchen nature reserve is located in the district of Ahrweiler in Rhineland-Palatinate. The aim of the protection is to preserve the Schorberg and Scheldköpfchen due to their special geological features and as a habitat for rare and endangered wild plant species and plant communities. The area is also protected due to its scenic beauty, unique character and for scientific reasons.
