TOWARD A NATURAL FOREST The Nature Discovery Park of ten square kilometres occupies the region between the Albis and the Zimmerberg. Nature in the Sihlwald is allowed to take its course undisturbed: dead trees are left standing and fallen trees are left to decay, thus providing new habitats for fungi, plants and animals which depend on dead wood.
