Hosenbachtal

Nature Reserve

Beschreibung und Karte

The Hosenbachtal is characterized by a near-natural stream valley with steep, rocky slopes, species-rich wet and floodplain meadows, as well as extensive forests. The valley slopes are partly covered by open oak and oak-hornbeam forests, dry grasslands, and rocky outcrops. In the wetter areas, there are alder and ash spring forests as well as alder carrs. The alternation between rocks, forests, meadows, and stream courses creates a high diversity of structures and species.
