The Woogwiesen-Bruchwiesen nature reserve is located in the Mainz-Bingen district of Rhineland-Palatinate and encompasses an ecologically valuable section of the Selz lowlands. This area is characterised by a near-natural stream, various woodlands, reed beds and wet fallow land. The reserve also includes permanently wet and temporarily flooded grassland and arable land. It is nestled in the Selztal landscape conservation area, which is known for its scenic beauty and ecological importance.
