Entering the area

don't leave the marked trails! The core area of the Bavarian Forest National Park may only be entered on marked paths. From July 15th to November 15th of each year, in addition to the marked hiking trails, the other paths and ways which are defined in the regulation on the restriction of the right of access in the Bavarian Forest National Park, these are no longer marked paths, and the border trail can be used by foot.
